The cars most notable occupants would be King George VI and the Queen mother who travelled in the car in 1947 during a royal tour. The car was also used to chauffeur the chief of the West African Coco States when he visited the Rowntrees Factory in York in 1937. The car has been in the family for over 50 years and during that time has made some film appearances most notably in the Agatha Christie film “The Seven Dials Mystery” with the current owner as chauffeur.
